The Outlines
I am very pleased and honoured to have been selected to participate in Designer´s Nest show in August 2015 during the Copenhagen Fashion Week.
Designers Nest is a professional and international platform for Nordic design graduates, which aims to expose and promote up-and-coming Scandinavian designers to global buyers, designers to global buyers, designers, media and trendsetters who visit the fashion fair and expanding Denmark as a fashion nation.
Inspiration
My two selected outfits are based on my BA collection ”Equation”, however they took a little bit different direction towards artistic approach. I am deeply inspired by the Picasso talent and his style of interpret art, so I tried to interpret it in my personal way by creating details and print that take their roots from my drawn figures. I show my created lines as a drawing on a flat, as a pattern and 3D print.

Inspired by Pablo Picasso constellation: ink black dotts connected by fine lines, japanese samurai´s costume silhouette and modern architecture lines and minimalism.

Inspired by yoga postures to give the collection a sporty vibe yet a note of sophistication.

I made my 3 D print by drawing the same yoga postures, just in a more detailed way. Afterwards, I cut them in some parts, mixed in a haotic way and in the end adjust in a way I wished to achieve the desired result.

Making my 3D print by using a collage technique.

Ruffles on the pants are repeating same movement of line as the created drawing.
